Danea Rouse is a seasoned leader in the financial services industry, with over 20 years of experience. She excels in business development, driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and extracting market and customer insights from data.

Currently, Danea serves as the Executive Director and Head of Business Development & Growth in JPMorgan Chase’s Community & Business Development organization. In this role, she oversees regional and national community opportunities, leading a team of Business Development Managers. In support of our mission to be the Bank for All, her team focuses on financial education and community partnerships, emphasizing trust-building and providing essential tools and resources to empower communities.

Previously, Danea spearheaded diversity, opportunity, and inclusion (DOI) strategies for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management. She led a team dedicated to enhancing diverse financial advisor experiences and collaborated with the Wealth Management executive team to develop and execute talent and inclusion strategies that attracted and retained world-class talent.

Danea joined JPMorgan Chase in 2021 as Head of Employee Engagement in J.P. Morgan’s global DOI organization. She facilitated collaboration between firmwide DOI Centers of Excellence and other DOI partners, embedding DOI across the firm. She also oversaw global Business Resource Groups and Executive Forums and was a member of the firm’s Second Chance Steering Committee.

Residing near Plano, Danea is an interior design enthusiast who enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and being a basketball mom to her teenaged twin sons.
